Palo Santo Wood - *Certified Ethical Origin SERFOR
"Palo santo has been used for thousands of years to clear negative energy, energize and restore energy. The perfect tool to allow to reset or raise energy within a space."
Palo santo (Bursera graveolens) is a wild tree found growing in the dry tropical forests of South America, primarily Ecuador and Peru. It belongs to the same plant family that gives us frankincense, myrrh, and copal. The tree produces a resin that intensifies with age after it dies. This resin gives off beautiful aromatic notes of Mint, Lemon and Pine.
Since the Incan era, Palo Santo has been used for its spiritual purifying properties helping to cleanse "mala energía" or bad energy and heal. When Spanish monks discovered this sacred wood, they named the tree Palo Santo which translates to Holy Wood or The wood of the saints.
How to use Palo Santo.
Carefully light one end of the wood. Allow the wood to burn for approx 30 seconds, then blow it out. A stream of fragrant smoke will rise from the embers. Place in a fireproof holder or hold in hand. Set your intention and move within the room to clear and revive.
Do not leave unattended or allow the piece to ignite.
